Janet Hodgdon, CPA, CPC, CRC

Director of Healthcare Development

Jan is a director in the healthcare consulting practice at Baker Newman Noyes, specializing in revenue cycle management, finance, provider education and training, risk adjustment documentation and coding, 501(r) Treasury regulations, and third-party reimbursement. Her clients include hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home health and hospice agencies, among others. Jan joined the firm in 1998 having previously been with a Big 4 firm.

Jan earned a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in accounting from the University of Southern Maine. She completed post-graduate course work at New Hampshire College and medical coding courses at Southern Maine Community College. Jan, a CPA, has also achieved AHIMA approval as an ICD-10-SM/PCS trainer and has obtained credentialing as both a professional coder and risk adjustment coder by the American Academy of Professional Coders. Jan is a frequent speaker and author on various healthcare issues.
