John is a manager in the firm’s risk and business advisory practice specializing in internal controls and risk mitigation for the financial services industry. Banking and financial services institutions turn to John for assurance regarding the effectiveness of internal controls systems and adherence to industry laws and regulations, as well as opportunities to enhance the control environment and risk mitigation. Prior to joining the firm, John served as the vice president of internal audit of a Boston-based financial services institution.
John is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has experience in both public and private accounting, with a focus on serving SEC and privately held investment management, corporate financial services companies, life and property insurance companies, and broker dealers. He manages complex projects related to technical accounting and operational and compliance issues.
John earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Northeastern University and a master’s degree in accountancy from Bentley University.
