Baker Newman Noyes Adds Tax Talent with Hire of Matthew Landon

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Baker Newman Noyes (BNN), a nationally-recognized top 100 accounting and advisory firm, announced Matthew Landon, CPA, EA, MSAT has joined its tax practice as a senior manager in the firm’s Portsmouth office.

Well-known in the Boston business community, Landon joins BNN from a financial advisory firm in Greater Boston. With more than 20 years of experience in tax and accounting, he specializes in strategic tax consultation, planning and advisory services for closely held businesses and their owners, with a primary focus on real estate companies and private equity syndicators.

Landon’s background complements the firm’s robust suite of tax services, particularly for clients requiring sophisticated partnership tax planning and reporting. In this role, he will advise clients throughout New England on matters relating to operating agreements, entity selection, tax structuring, equity compensation arrangements, and business succession planning. Landon also coordinates BNN’s COVID-19 task force where he helps organize and plan the firm’s internal and external initiatives related to C-19.

Landon holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, with a concentration in philosophy, from Central Connecticut State University as well as master’s degrees in accounting and taxation from the University of Hartford.
