Baker Newman Noyes Announces Two Senior Level Promotions

Baker Newman Noyes (BNN), a nationally recognized top 100 accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce two senior-level promotions in its New Hampshire offices.

Chris Currie, CPA, and Linda Sanborn, CPA, MBA, have been promoted to Managing Director in the Tax Practice, effective January 1, 2024.

Currie, of Chester, New Hampshire, first came to BNN as an intern in 2003. He specializes in delivering tax services to large and mid‐sized businesses, along with many individual clients. Additionally, Currie is a key member of the transaction advisory services group. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.

“Chris offers a key example of how individuals can grow their careers at BNN from internships to the director level,” said BNN Director of Tax Services, Andrew Smith. “His ability to collaborate with staff across practice groups and responsive approach to serving clients make him a key member of the team, and we look forward to watching his career continue to grow at the firm.”

Sanborn, of Durham, New Hampshire, brings more than 20 years of experience to her role and specializes in providing tax services to individuals and closely-held businesses, while also providing services in the firm’s international tax practice. She joined Baker Newman Noyes in 2015. Sanborn earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire.
