Baker Newman Noyes Announces Promotions in Maine and New Hampshire
Baker Newman Noyes (BNN), a nationally recognized top 100 accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce five promotions in its Portland, Maine, and Manchester, New Hampshire offices.

Gilda Bryand, of Portland, Maine, was promoted to Associate Director of Tax Operations. She joined the firm in 2015, having previously worked for many years in the telecommunications industry. Bryand is responsible for supervising administrative staff assigned to the tax practice and managing the entire administrative tax function at the firm. Bryand earned her bachelor’s degree in human services from the University of Rhode Island.
Kate Hickey, of Portland, Maine, was promoted to Director of Real Estate and Compliance. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all real estate and facilities activities within the firm. In collaboration with members of leadership, she is also responsible for risk management and overseeing compliance related matters. Hickey joined BNN in 2022. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Bowdoin College, and a master’s degree in education from DePaul University.
Jennifer Fontaine, of Manchester, New Hampshire, was promoted to Senior Manager of Office Administration. Fontaine joined BNN in 2011 and is responsible for maintaining office systems, facilities, and supervising office administrative assistants who provide exceptional client service experience in each of our five locations. She is originally from central Maine and has earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and a master’s degree in business administration from Husson University.
The following employees were also promoted: Justin Eck, has been promoted to Senior in the assurance practice; River Mullan has been promoted to Senior in the information systems and risk assurance practice.
