Baker Newman Noyes Announces 18 Senior Promotions in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire

Baker Newman Noyes (BNN), a nationally recognized top 100 accounting and advisory firm, is excited to announce 18 senior-level promotions in its Manchester, NH, Portsmouth, NH, Woburn, MA, Boston, MA, and Portland, ME, offices.

Boston, Mass.

  • Nathalia Bergamini, CPA, has been promoted to senior manager in the assurance practice. Bergamini specializes in providing audit services to banks and financial institutions. She serves community banks, credit unions and financial holding companies registered with the SEC and has experience with internal control reporting requirements for the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and FDICIA reporting. She joined the firm in 2015 and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in accounting from Curry College.
  • Chelsea Cullerot, CPA, MSA, has been promoted to senior manager in the assurance practice. Since joining BNN in 2014, Cullerot has served some of the firm’s largest internal control compliance engagements, specializing in detailed SOX testing. She also serves clients in the commercial and healthcare industries. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Virginia.

Woburn, Mass.

  • Sydney Callan, CPA, MST, has been promoted to manager in the tax practice. Callan joined BNN in 2019 as a tax supervising senior. Prior to that, she worked as a senior tax associate for a global accounting firm. Callan earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from UMass-Dartmouth and her master’s in taxation from Suffolk University.

Manchester, N.H.

  • Douglas deLara Jr., CPA, MSA has been promoted to senior manager in the assurance practice, specializing in healthcare, nonprofit, high-tech and employee benefit plan audits. DeLara joined the firm in 2012 and has extensive experience in client-specific accounting and auditing for various types of commercial and nonprofit organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of New Hampshire. DeLara serves on the finance committee for the Manchester Community Music School and the board of directors for Granite United Way.
  • Marrissa MacLeod, CPA, MSA, has been promoted to senior manager in the assurance practice, specializing in healthcare and nonprofit organizations. MacLeod joined the firm in 2012. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of New Hampshire. MacLeod is an advisory council member of Manchester Young Professionals and a Leadership Greater Manchester class of 2020 graduate.
  • Kory Reynolds, CPA, MST, has been promoted to senior manager in the tax practice, working with clients on tax planning and compliance with an emphasis on complex partnership and S-Corp considerations. He primarily serves clients in construction, real estate and professional services. Reynolds earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Plymouth State University and a master’s degree in taxation from Northeastern University.

Portsmouth, N.H.

  • Jordin Milano, CPA, has been promoted to senior manager in the assurance practice. Milano specializes in providing auditing services to banks and financial institutions with particular experience in mergers and acquisitions, SOX 404 and FDICIA reporting. She joined the firm in 2015 and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Salem State University.

Portland, Maine

  • Ally Brophy has been promoted to marketing manager, responsible for the firm’s marketing outreach including public relations, events, social media, and online marketing. She also oversees the firm’s proposal and business development efforts. Brophy has been at BNN for more than nine years as a senior marketing coordinator, managing and developing the firm’s online presence and many PR and event initiatives. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies from the University of Southern Maine. Brophy has served on the board of the Maine Public Relations Council and as a volunteer at the Freeport (ME) Community Library.
  • Gilda Bryand has been promoted to tax operations senior manager. She is responsible for supervising administrative staff assigned to the tax practice. Bryand joined the firm in 2015 after working for many years in the telecommunications industry. She earned her bachelor’s degree in human services from the University of Rhode Island.
  • Megan Elliott, CPA, MSA, has been promoted to senior manager in the tax practice, specializing in tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and related partnerships. She joined the firm in 2015 as a member of the private client services group. Elliott graduated from University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentrations in accounting and finance and has a master’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.
  • Gibrian Foltz has been promoted to senior manager in the tax practice, specializing in S corporations, closely held businesses and personal taxation. He joined the firm in 2007 and holds a master’s degree in accounting from University of Maine, Orono. Foltz is a member of the Portland Public Art Committee and serves as treasurer of Creative Portland.
  • Courtney Francis has been promoted to senior manager in the multi-generational business tax group, focusing on the integration of individuals and related entities, including family foundations. Francis joined BNN in 2014. Her compliance experience includes real estate partnerships to complex high-net-worth individuals and private foundations. She earned bachelor’s degrees from the University of Southern Maine in business administration, accounting and finance. Francis serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Maine.
  • Josie Hajdysz has been promoted to director of finance. Hajdysz joined the firm in 2006 and oversees its financial functions, holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Southern New Hampshire University.
  • Spencer Hathaway, CPA has been promoted to senior manager in the assurance practice, specializing in audit and other attestation services for financial institutions, commercial businesses, nonprofit and government clients. He joined BNN in 2013 after interning at the firm the year before. Hathaway is president of the Board of Governors of the Maine Society of Public Accountants. He earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Maine.
  • Dustin Kaubris, CPA has been promoted to manager in the assurance practice. Kaubris joined the firm in 2016 as a staff auditor before being promoted to audit senior in 2018. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire where he also earned his master’s degree in accounting.
  • Nate Marcet has been promoted to manager in the tax practice. Marcet joined BNN as an intern in 2015 and as a tax staff accountant the following year. He has previously served as a tax senior and supervising senior. Marcet earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in accounting from the University of Southern Maine, where he also earned his master’s in business administration.
  • Kelly Pelletier, JD, CPA, has been promoted to senior manager in the tax practice. Pelletier focuses on high-net-worth individuals, specializing in income tax planning and compliance for individuals, trusts and estates. She graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. Pelletier earned her juris doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. She is a member of the Maine and Massachusetts State Bars and Maine Society of CPAs and serves as the Board Treasurer for Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoastal Maine. In 2020, Pelletier was recognized as The Rising Star in the MSCPA’s Stars Among Stars Awards.
  • Michael Trahan, CPA, MBA, has been promoted to manager in the assurance practice. Trahan worked as an intern in the firm’s assurance department in 2015, joining as a staff member the following year. Trahan specializes in audit services for banks and financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, and commercial businesses. Trahan earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Southern Maine, where he also earned his master’s degree in business administration.
