Baker Newman Noyes Rises in Ranks of Largest Massachusetts Accounting Firms

BOSTON, Mass. – An annual survey by the Boston Business Journal (BBJ) has ranked Baker Newman Noyes (BNN) as the 31st largest accounting firm in Massachusetts, continuing the firm’s rise among the ranks of the top 50 accounting and advisory firms in New England.

The annual rankings, conducted by staff researchers at the BBJ, are based on the total number of employees in Massachusetts at each firm. This marks the third year that BNN has been ranked by the BBJ and comes on the heels of similar consecutive Top 100 rankings nationally by Accounting Today and INSIDE Public Accounting. Last year, the BBJ ranked BNN 36th largest in Massachusetts.

“As we continue to grow in Massachusetts, we are very excited to have remained a top 50 firm for the third year in a row,” said Bob Croak, principal-in-charge of the firm’s Boston office. “Our main goal is providing our clients with high quality client service from a specialized and knowledgeable team. With this in mind, BNN is focused on continuing to attract and retain talented team members who fit our dynamic and entrepreneurial culture, and those with the technical abilities and industry specialization to best serve our clients.”

Headquartered in Portland, Maine, BNN expanded to Massachusetts in 2011 with the opening of its downtown office in Boston. Today, BNN is the fifth-largest regional accounting firm in New England by total revenue, according to Accounting Today.

The BNN Boston team specializes in assurance, tax, and business advisory services for clients in the banking, healthcare, commercial, life sciences, and technology industries.
