Baker Newman Noyes Promotes Josh Lapierre to Tax Principal

Baker Newman Noyes (BNN), a nationally recognized top 100 accounting and advisory firm, announced today the promotion of Josh Lapierre, CPA to principal in the firm’s tax practice. He is based in BNN’s Portland, Maine headquarters.

Lapierre provides exceptional tax advisory, consulting, planning, and compliance services for businesses and their ownership groups, particularly in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, tax structuring, and due diligence. He works primarily with commercial businesses, including the real estate and construction, hospitality, manufacturing and distribution, and retail industries.

Lapierre has spent his career serving a wide range of clients including those with U.S. and international operations, passive and active ownerships, and multi-generational family business and partnership structures. He works with businesses of all types, including S Corporations, C Corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. He helps clients with overall tax planning, transaction assistance, and tax efficiency and minimization strategies, including entity choice and structure, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and dispositions, both complete and partial.

Lapierre holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s in business administration from Husson University. He currently resides in Freeport, Maine with his family.
