Baker Newman Noyes Celebrates Relocation & Opening of New Portsmouth Office with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Business and firm leaders gather to launch BNN’s new flexible workspace in Portsmouth
February 2, 2023 – (PORTSMOUTH, NH) Baker Newman Noyes, a top 100 accounting and advisory firm celebrated the opening of its new Portsmouth office with a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday morning. The office at 75 Portsmouth Boulevard encourages a new kind of work. Featuring a training and education center, offices and adaptable workspaces that support the firm’s transition to a ‘hoteling’ work model, the Portsmouth office is designed to meet the needs of BNN’s hybrid workforce.
“This is a new kind of workspace,” said BNN Managing Principal Dayton Benway. “The nature of how we work is changing and BNN is excited for the opportunities those changes bring. The flexible workspace at our new Portsmouth location encourages continued personal learning and professional development alongside teamwork and collaboration to create an environment where our employees can thrive.”
The newly renovated 6,500 square-foot office was designed with a flexible, activity-based model to support employees with dedicated workstations for focus, teamwork and integrated, flexible technology. Through the ‘hoteling’ system, employees can book cubicles, private offices and phone rooms for individual work and virtual meetings or reserve collaborative spaces, team rooms and portable monitors for group work coordination.
A “Collaborative Café” style kitchen and lounge offers a place for casual conversation and a wellness room helps support all sides of employee wellbeing. A key feature of the new location is the first-of-its-kind training center and event calendar to make the most of in-person learning, relationships and personal development.

The firm relocated from their prior office on Arboretum Drive to the new space on Portsmouth Boulevard. The office serves as the collaborative hub for approximately 30 BNN employees based in the Portsmouth area and connects BNN’s offices in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts as a central location and meeting point for the firm. While Thursday’s festivities marked the official ribbon cutting for the office space, employees began utilizing it in December.
