Spencer is a principal at Baker Newman Noyes, specializing in audit and other attestation services for nonprofit and governmental clients, as well as closely held and private equity backed commercial businesses, professional service firms, financial institutions, trust companies, and insurance entities. In addition, Spencer has substantial experience with audits of employee benefit plans. He joined the firm in 2013, having previously interned at BNN in 2012. In addition to serving clients, Spencer is a member of the BNN Training Committee and also helps lead technology initiatives for the department.
Spencer earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and business administration, with a concentration in accounting, from the University of Maine.
