Nathan is a manager in the assurance practice at Baker Newman Noyes. He specializes in providing auditing and assurance services for banks, credit unions, and commercial businesses.
Nathan believes that building strong relationships starts with understanding the people and organizations he works with. He takes the time to learn everything he can about his clients and their entities so he can identify opportunities to help them achieve their goals. What he enjoys most about his career is seeing growth in himself, in his colleagues, and in his clients. In a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving, Nathan finds it rewarding to learn new skills, share knowledge with others, and watch clients successfully implement financial practices that help them adapt to changing needs and achieve continued success.
Before joining BNN, Nathan worked in the accounting department of a BNN audit client and was consistently impressed by the firm’s professionalism and client service. That experience inspired him to deliver the same high level of support and responsiveness that he appreciated as a client.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and his master’s degree in business administration, with a focus on accounting from University of Maine.
