Kimberly is a principal in the tax practice at Baker Newman Noyes and leads the firm’s private client services practice. She specializes in tax planning and preparation for high net worth individuals, trusts, and estates, as well as pass-through entities, corporations, and nonprofits. She joined the firm in 2019 having previously served as a principal at a regional public accounting firm in New Hampshire for over 14 years.
Kimberly also has experience performing audits, reviews, and compilations for both nonprofit and for-profit clients, particularly those in the construction, technology, and nonprofit industries. She has also served as an accountant in the healthcare industry.
In addition to serving clients, Kim leads the firm as a member-at-large on the Board of Directors. As a board member, Kim co-develops and executes on BNN’s long-term strategy and vision. She also focuses some of her board service on being a Strategic Initiatives Partner representing the tax department, actioning new initiatives with the firm’s Business Transformation team to improve efficiencies for the tax team and service experience for BNN clients. She also leads the firm as the partner-in-charge for the firm’s Manchester, New Hampshire office. In this role, Kimberly champions the firm’s Manchester team and culture locally and as part of the larger firm.
Kimberly earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Franklin Pierce College and a master’s degree in business administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
Three Things You Don’t Know About Me:
- I spent a month traveling around Turkey through a group study exchange, staying with various host families.
- I took guitar lessons, piano lessons, and dance lessons as a child, until I had to perform in front of an audience. I was very shy as a child.
- I read a lot about health related nutrition, it is fascinating to me. If not a CPA I would have done something along those lines.
