Mark joined Baker Newman Noyes in 2014 in the firm’s Boston office. He is an Assurance Principal primarily serving clients in the commercial and consumer products industries, with a special concentration in the retail, e-commerce and life science/medical device sectors. Mark also provides leadership to the firm in his roles as Partner-in-Charge of BNN’s Massachusetts offices (Boston & Woburn) and as an at-large member of the firm’s Board of Directors, defining and delivering on BNN’s long-term vision and strategy.
With more than 25 years of experience in the accounting and assurance profession, Mark specializes in internal controls and technical accounting matters. He offers clients first-hand knowledge and experience addressing complex revenue models, capitalized software, convertible debt instruments, sale-leaseback transactions, hedge transactions, impairment considerations, reporting and operating segments, acquisitions and challenging consolidation models.
Mark works collaboratively with clients to identify audit efficiencies and provides valuable insights for SOX compliance ranging from annual certification and testing to performing strategic projects to enable companies to enhance controls.
Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting, cum laude, from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.
