James has more than ten years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax planning for corporations in the life sciences, technology, and manufacturing industries. He is a senior manager at Baker Newman Noyes serving clients out of the firm’s Woburn office. James’ experience includes research and development tax credits, nexus and other state tax issues, and mergers and acquisitions tax considerations. In addition he has helped clients with cross-border transactions and tax structuring.

Prior to joining the firm, James was a tax manager at a public accounting firm based in Rhode Island.

James earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, and his master’s degree in taxation from Bryant University. He also earned a juris doctor from the New England School of Law.
