Alan Duhaime , CPA

Alan is a principal at Baker Newman Noyes, specializing in providing audit and assurance services to clients in the manufacturing, high-tech, healthcare, and nonprofit industries. Al’s experience extends to several key compliance and assurance advisory areas including mergers and acquisitions, internal controls, corporate finance, and public and regulatory filings. Alan is certified to practice in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont. In addition, Alan provides leadership to the firm through his responsibilities related to practice development, training, and recruiting. He has been with the firm since 2006, having previously been with a Big 4 firm in New Hampshire.

Alan has been serving construction, manufacturing, and venture-backed organizations since his career in accounting began. His particular expertise includes advising clients on accounting and business matters, and performing reviews and recommendations on internal controls, as well as reporting and compliance requirements. His understanding of the challenges facing leaders of these organizations stems from working closely with executive directors, presidents, finance officers, chief executive officers, and chief operating officers in a variety of industries. With more than 25 years of auditing experience, Alan has helped many clients develop stronger internal controls and achieve efficient processes relating to significant accounting estimates and models, strategic financial planning, and transaction due diligence.

Alan earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting with secondary emphasis in political science from Saint Michael’s College.
