
Dianne is a senior manager in the healthcare consulting practice at Baker Newman Noyes. She has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry from a clinical and coding perspective. Prior to joining BNN, Dianne worked as a physician assistant in both inpatient and outpatient settings in a large academic medical center. She brings clinical insight to her expertise in all aspects of coding, documentation review, and regulatory compliance at BNN.
Dianne specializes in assisting hospitals and providers through medical record review, clinical documentation analysis and improvement, and provider and staff education. She partners with legal firms in providing coding, billing and medical necessity reviews under attorney client privilege. She has presented on coding and documentation improvement topics at local and regional American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) conferences.
In addition to serving clients, Dianne is also a member of the BNN Women’s Committee.
Dianne received a master’s degree in health professions from Northeastern University and completed a post-graduate accounting certificate program at the University of Southern Maine. She is certified in healthcare compliance through the Healthcare Compliance Association and is a certified risk adjustment coder through the AAPC.
