Chris Roughton Joins Baker Newman Noyes as Manager in Business and Technology Advisory Practice

Baker Newman Noyes (BNN), a nationally recognized, top 100 tax, assurance, and advisory firm, today announced the hiring of Chris Roughton as a manager in the firm’s Business and Technology Advisory practice. In this role, Roughton will focus on strategy, business process improvement, and technology execution for a variety of clients across New England. He is based at the firm’s Portsmouth, N.H. office and serves clients across New England and beyond.

Roughton combines his many years as a consultant and advisor with his experience working in industry to bring data-driven and innovative solutions to companies and teams in the manufacturing, life science, healthcare, and nonprofit industries. He has a proven track record that ranges from leading strategic operations and technology assessments for high-growth medical device companies to providing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and process advisory for large nonprofit organizations. Roughton specializes in enterprise application strategy and execution, software selection and implementation, business process improvement, and operations and supply chain optimization.

Prior to joining the firm, Roughton served as a strategy and management consultant in the Massachusetts office of a large national public accounting firm. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tufts University and his master’s degree in business administration from Yale University. Roughton also holds a certificate in Digital Transformation from IE Business School in Spain. He currently lives in Newburyport, Mass.
