Once again, a Baker Newman Noyes (BNN) team volunteered at Glickman Library in support of Spurwink Services. Ten BNN interns helped get the building ready for the new school year, including painting and decorating.

The Baker Newman Noyes Boston office teamed up for the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s Day of Service on July 13. The group of 20 volunteers were at the Stone Zoo in Stoneham assisting with cleaning up brush and other debris from a recent storm.

Marrissa MacLeod and Doug DeLara volunteered at Windham Center School in Windham, New Hampshire to talk to fourth grade students about the accounting profession and give a lesson on Microsoft Excel in preparation for the school’s upcoming STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) fair.

A team of bakers from Baker Newman Noyes volunteered with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine this week, making cookies and other goodies for the residents staying in the Portland house.

Baker Newman Noyes was pleased to be a sponsor of the record-breaking inaugural Maine ChangeFest on October 28. A BNN team of volunteers joined the festivities to count the change, totaling $32,099.84 and weighing nearly two tons. Together with matching challenges and other contributions, World of Change, a new Maine-based nonprofit organization that converts spare change into social change, will be making more than $52,000 in impact investments to its nonprofit partners in its first eight months since publicly launching in March.
