May 6, 2009 – Manchester, NH – Baker Newman Noyes has been named the 2009 New Hampshire Business of the Year in the Financial Services/Insurance industry by Business NH Magazine.

The award is given to seven companies to recognize outstanding civic contributions and exceptional performance within their profession.

A screening committee made up of members of the NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives pared down the field of applicants to three semifinalists. A Panel of Excellence, comprised of executives from the 2008 winning companies selected the winners.

The award will be presented to the firm at a luncheon on Tuesday May 19, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel at the Center of NH in Manchester.
