Living in New Hampshire Live Free or Die!

Manchester itself has become a great place to live and work:

  • Manchester-Nashua ranked #7 most livable city [2010 Forbes Magazine]
  • #1 safest / #2 healthiest state – New Hampshire in 2008 [CQ Press]
  • 60% of New Hampshire's population is within 30 miles of Manchester
  • The city of Boston, MA with all it has to offer is less than a one hour drive
  • Manchester is ranked as the 13th city (out of 100) Best Places to Live & Launch by Fortune Small Business, CNNMoney.com
  • The Verizon Wireless Arena, which opened in 2002, is located directly across the street from the BNN office — the arena hosts sporting events, concerts, theater, and other special activities
  • Manchester is the home of the Monarchs — the AHL team for the Los Angeles Kings; the Fisher Cats — the Double A team for the Toronto Blue Jays; and the Manchester Wolves, an Arena Football team

The most effective way to learn about a career in public accounting is to jump right in.  Through a paid internship at BNN, you will find out about our firm, our people, our services and how our team works together.  At the same time you will build a strong resume.

Your internship can take place during the ‘busy season’ [January to April] or in the summer [June to August]. During your internship, you should expect to do real work – real audit / real tax work.  It is challenging and demanding, but it is also rewarding.  You will get to know what working at BNN is really like. This is no “summer job”.  A BNN Internship is part of your career path.  You will work with our professionals, get to know the principals, and meet clients. Many of our interns are hired into full-time accounting positions once they have finished school.

Testimonials

My internship at BNN provided both professional and technical experience relevant to being a successful young accounting professional.  In my experience, BNN’s internship program was as flexible as it was challenging.  I was able to remain a full time student while being part of meaningful engagements that helped develop my skills.  I found that the people at BNN always took the time to listen to my questions and answer them thoughtfully.

My internship at BNN was one of the best experiences I have had. It not only confirmed that accounting was the right career choice for me, but it also allowed me to realize that BNN was the best fit for me. In fact, I loved it so much that I was happy to join the firm full-time after completing grad school!
