Roland began at Baker Newman Noyes when the firm was founded in
1995 having previously worked with KPMG, one of predecessor companies
since 1993.
He is a Principal in BNN's Healthcare Management Consulting
Division specializing in third-party reimbursement, finance and operational
reviews for hospitals, and other Provider entities, as well as reviewing
Medicare payments associated with graduate medical education, indirect
medical education, bad debts and disproportionate share hospital.
He has appeared before the CMS Provider Reimbursement Review Board,
Medicaid Hearing Board and the State of Maine Dirigo Board as an
expert witness.
Roland earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the
University of Southern Maine.
